The objective of the authors of the Introduction to the Old Testament evangelical orientation is to prepare those who want to engage in the study of the Old Testament to read and understand its different books, by providing the necessary to help bridge the gap between the present time in the context of the Old Testament. Presentation of issues affecting introduction to each book is structured around three main areas: the historic context in which it was written and the events he describes , a literary analysis, including the study of gender and employee that the structure of the book, and the outline of his theological message , understood and interpreted in the context of the entire canon .
